1. We reserve the right to amend driving lessons if we are unable to keep the appointment in the event of pre-booked driving tests, mechanical breakdown, sickness, pre-booked holidays or due to immovable traffic.
2. At least 48 hours’ notice is requested to cancel pre-booked driving lessons, cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at the full lesson rate.
3. All lessons must be paid for in advance by bank transfer or payment through the app. Card and cash payments are accepted by prior agreement and must be paid in advance.
4. Pre booked lesson packages may be booked at a discounted rate. In the event that any hours remain unused a refund may be provided. In calculating the amount to be refunded all hours already used will be charged at the standard hourly rate and not the discounted rate.
5. Unused hours from pre booked packages will expire 6 calendar months from purchase unless agreed otherwise in advance.
6. Online payments for gift vouchers expire after 6 months but can be extended if requested within the time limit.
7. Driving test must only be booked with the agreement of the Driving Instructor. Booking a driving test is not a guarantee that the student will be test ready by that date.
8. The Driving Instructor will only provide a tuition vehicle for the purpose of taking the driving test if they consider the student to be of a sufficient standard so as to successfully pass the test. If the Driving Instructor does not consider the student to be test ready, then the test date may need to be changed or cancelled. The decision of the Driving Instructor in this matter is final.
9. Practical tests can be booked through the driving instructor; payment of the test fee must be made at time of booking. No additional charges are made for this service.
10. Students may book their own test date however the availability of the Driving Instructor cannot be guaranteed.
11. In the event of an unsuccessful attempt the student is required to maintain an appropriate level of practice ahead of any re-test. A schedule will be agreed with the Driving Instructor. Where a student does maintain the agreed level of practice, the Driving Instructor may not provide the tuition vehicle for the purposes of taking the re-test.
12. The driving school operates a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of bullying, harassment, and discrimination along with all forms of unreasonable behaviour. Driving lessons may be suspended or withdrawn at any time at the sole discretion of the Driving Instructor.
13. The student is responsible for obeying the Highway Code at all times and is therefore wholly liable for any fines, penalty points or prosecution as a consequence of their driving.
If you need to cancel a lesson, please give at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full price of the lesson.
I understand that sometimes emergencies happen, but I ask that you please do your best to give me as much notice as possible. Lessons missed or cancelled at short notice are difficult to fill, which is why they are charged at full price. I appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Unfortunately, I am not able to make any exceptions for sickness, work, school, or any other reason. I hope you can appreciate that my time is valuable and I must maintain a fair policy for all of my students.
All lesson payments must be made at least 48 hours in advance to secure the booking. If payment is not made the lesson will be made available to my other pupils and you may lose this space.
